Dentistry
As human medicine develops, we continue to learn about the importance of oral care. Your teeth may seem like a small part of your body, but we know that poor dental care is connected to heart disease, stroke, respiratory diseases and pregnancy complications.
Animals are no different. Your pet requires the same attention to its teeth to maintain good health, but it is up to you to ensure your pet’s teeth are consistently kept clean and healthy.
Dr. Sue McTaggart is a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry, trained in advanced dentistry including endontics, orthodontics, and periodontics. She has taught dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan Veterinary College and lectures annually at the Canadian Veterinary Medical Convention as well as internationally. Our facility acts as a referral clinic for veterinarians requiring advanced dentistry for their patients.
